Antonio Feula’s quartet is a band based in Birmingham, featuring David Austin  Grey on keyboard, Ashley Trigg on bass, Ric Yarborough on drums and Antonio Feula on guitar. The project aims to merge jazz with funk and Latin music giving a lot of space to the musicians for improvisation. Antonio, the leader of the band, has come up with this idea after being influenced mainly by guitarists such as John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Scott Henderson, Mike stern, Bill Frisell. The interplay between the musicians and the audience is the key: “a jazz song should never be the same cause it should constantly get the listener involved” as Antonio reckons.
